Are you ready for some Camp Fire Cocoa Ice Cream? It’s the time of the year where we love to make ice cream with our family. This Kitchen Aid attachment makes it so easy to make homemade ice cream. I was about to make some Maple Ice Cream from Ben & Jerry’s when I realized we needed more Maple. Not wanting to go the store I played around and created this yummy recipe. I’m always a sucker for anything s’more related. I decided to use some hot cocoa mix to create this yummy flavor. It worked out perfectly. It’s like eating s’more and drinking cocoa around the fire.
If you aren’t a big fan of s’more you could always ommit the graham crackers and it would just be Hot Cocoa Ice Cream, which would be amazing as well. My husband suggested chopping the chocolate chips next time. Or maybe I would just pick up some itty bitty chocolate chips. Either way it would be delicious!
I hope my kids remember our summers of making homemade ice cream with fondness. We love trying out new flavors and have some more ideas we will be sharing later. I love creating recipes and spending time with my kids in the kitchen.
